Dodital is believed to be the land of Shiva, and so it is frequented by pilgrims from all over India. We at Shubh Yatra Travels, covering duration of 8 Days, this mild trek is arranged for adventure seekers and ardent nature lovers. The forest surrounding the lake at Dodital is also full of wildlife. It provides an idyllic set up for rest and recreational activities like angling, boating, nature watch and bird watching.

From Dodital, it is a two-Day trek to Hanumanchatti via Darwa Top. Darwa Top provides a majestic view of the Garhwal Himalayas.

Yamunotri: At an altitude of 10,805 ft, Yamunotri, the source of the sacred Yamuna River is located in the Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand, close to the Indo-Chinese border near the Bandarpunch peak. The Yamuna emerges form a frozen lake of ice and glaciers on the Kalinda Parvat at 14, 502 ft.

Itinerary - Duration: 08 Nights/09 Days

Day 01:

Arrive at Rishikesh and transfer to hotel. Day free at your leisure. You can visit Laxman Jhulla, Ram Jhulla, & Ganga aarti at Parmarth Niketan.

Day 02:

  Drive to Uttarkashi 195 kms
  Lunch enroute
  Dinner and night stay in the hotel, Uttarkashi

Day 03:

  17 kms drive to Kalyani
  Further 06 kms trek to Agoda with packed lunch
  Dinner and night stay in the camp

Day 04:

  16 kms trek to Dodital with packed lunch
  Dinner and night stay in camp

Day 05:

  16 kms trek to Seema with packed lunch
  Dinner and night stay in camp

Day 06:

  18 kms trek to Hanumanchatti with packed lunch
  Dinner and night stay in hotel

Day 07:

  14 kms trek to Yamunotri with packed lunch
  Dinner and night stay in the hotel,Yamunotri

Day 08:

  14 kms trek back to Hanumanchatti with packed lunch
  Dinner and night stay in the hotel

Day 09:

  212 kms drive to Rishikesh via Mussoorie
  Lunch enroute
  On arrival tour concludes
